Location Guide

Mount Hebron Cemetery at the highest level is organized into Blocks. There are over 100 Blocks. They are fairly large and some are similar in size to city blocks. Within a Block, we use a Reference Number as a unique identifier for the different areas or societies. References are often labeled on arches, granite gates or pathways.

In single grave sections, after locating the appropriate Block and Reference Number, take notice of the Line Number in the interment’s location. Most lines are not visibly labeled in the Cemetery, however you can assume the first adult line of graves in the rear is Line Number 1. The lines can then be counted forward towards the entrance gate.

In family plot sections, after locating the appropriate Block and Reference Number (Path), the lot numbers are not visibly labeled in the Cemetery. We suggest you walk down the path until you find the plot.
